Hutton’s Group was honoured to be visited by the British Ambassador to Norway, Sarah Gillett CMG CVO, during this year’s NorShipping show in Oslo, Norway.
The Ambassador met Hutton’s Group Managing Director Alex Taylor who gave her an overview of the company and the ship supply market, particularly in relation to the Norwegian offshore sector.
Hutton’s Medical General Manager John MacDonald reported: “The Ambassador was impressed with the global reach of Hutton’s Group and said she was glad to see a British company flourishing in this market.”
Ambassador Gillett, who was previously Ambassador to Switzerland and to Liechtenstein, is scheduled to visit Aberdeen later this year and has been invited to visit our Hutton’s Group branch while she is there.
The Ambassador is Her Majesty The Queen and the UK Government’s representative in Norway and is responsible for the direction and work of the Embassy and its Consulates, including political work, trade and investment, press and cultural relations, and visa and consular services.
